Had a great 2-night stay! The room was super spacious and had a great setup with a separate living room. Love the location near North Cascades park. Only downside was the carpet could use a deep clean, but the value for money is hard to beat!

cozy home away from home
Our suite was like an airy retreat! The full kitchen and spacious living area made our three-night stay feel so welcoming, like a cozy apartment rather than a hotel room.
Although wonderful overall, the limited seating in the living area could be a challenge if you're traveling in a larger group.

Checked into the Mt. Baker Hotel for two nights in a delightful double room with a private bathroom. The charming furnishings created a cozy atmosphere, with very clean and well-maintained accommodations. Heather and Brandon, the new owners, greeted us warmly and shared exciting plans for renovations. The hotel is only 30 minutes from North Cascades National Park, perfect for outdoor adventures. The thoughtful guest brochure was packed with local tips. We had a lovely time exploring the area, just be aware that breakfast isn’t provided on-site. We enjoyed fantastic pastries at '5B's Bakery' nearby, definitely worth the visit. One minor inconvenience was the absence of a dining option directly at the hotel, but it didn’t ruin our experience. Looking forward to seeing how the hotel evolves with the new management!

The hotel has a wonderfully inviting exterior that sets a cozy tone as soon as you arrive.
The bed was positioned in a way that obstructed the view from the window, making it difficult to enjoy the beautiful sunrise.

The bed blocked the window view, but the room was still cozy.

The hotel provides fair prices and comfortable accommodations.
Unfortunately, our room was not cleaned after the first night. The towels weren't changed, and the garbage was left untouched. The outdated decor with stained carpets added to our disappointment during the stay.

the character of this place is almost charming, but when I realized they didn’t clean the room after the first night, that charm faded. I was also left lugging my luggage up and down stairs, which feels a bit beneath me. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t. It’s not what I expected, really.

The new owners are super nice and excited about the future! Our room smelled fresh and clean, with really soft sheets. It felt great to stay in such a spacious place. We loved being only 30 minutes from North Cascades National Park, surrounded by local shops. Can't wait to return! 😊

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
Our stay was pleasant, though we faced some challenges. The double room was spacious enough for our group, but the seating was limited with only one couch. For better sleep, request a room away from the bar noise. Overall, a cozy place for a short visit.
